Today’s game is faster, more competitive, more public and more pressurised than ever before, with the average career in professional cricket coming to an end at the age of just 26.
Why does the Professional Cricketers' Trust need your help?
- Since 2015, the Trust has supported 426 cases in the area of mental health alone
- 94 individuals were supported in 2020, including 35 current professionals and 59 former players, coaches and immediate family of PCA members
- In 2020, the charity saw an annual fundraising shortfall of £150,000 due to the Covid-19 pandemic
- Rising anxiety caused by the pandemic means the work of the Trust has never been more important
With your support, the Trust can continue to support members of the cricket family who have fallen on hard times, safeguarding the future of the sport that we all love for years to come.
